Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program


We have a seasonal program where customers can have a weekly box of produce delivered to a pick up site in the community.  For the fall and winter season, our pick up sites will be at the farm in Winder, and in Grayson (exact location to be determined) in order to accommodate our faithful customers in Gwinnett county.  This will help our customers continue to get our fresh picked produce throughout the year, especially when most farmers markets have closed.  With our high tunnell in operation we are able to have more consistancy and more variety through the cold winter months.  Please understand that crops are still seasonal and those that thrive in hot weather are not  necessarily sustainable even with a high tunnell, and extreme temperatures that can occur even in Georgia may have an effect on production. 

If you are interested in purchasing a CSA share, please feel free to call or email with questions.  Once you have decided, you will need to email Farmer Cass at info@finchcreekfarm.org to request a half or full share, so that we will can email the application and contract for you to sign and email back, then payment may be made through pay pal or you may mail a check.  Shares are limited, deadline to apply and pay is September 1st for the fall and December 1st for the winter season.  However, it is best to apply and pay as soon as possible to guarantee a share and you get a better price paying for a full share of both fall and winter season.


Price:  Fall Season or Winter Season (10 weeks)     $ 225.00 + tax

            Both Fall and Winter Season (20 weeks)      $400.00 + tax


The fall season begins on the week of 10/2 and goes through 12/18, there are no deliveries the week of 10/14 as this is Farmer

Cass week of vacation, and there are no deliveries the week of Thanksgiving.


The winter season begins on the week of 1/6/15 and goes through 3/15. 


Policies regarding CSA boxes.  There are no refunds if you miss a week.  If you give us  a minium of a 48 hour notice  that you are unavailable  to pick up for the week due to vacation, we will credit you a week in the next season.  If you are in town, but cannot pick up the box at the designated day/time, you must make arrangements 48 hours in advance of said designated day/time to pick up the box at another day/time within the week at the farm in Winder at a day/time that is convenient to the farmer.       

                                                                                                                          Boxes are not always the same; amounts and types vary according to season, weather, and production issues beyond the farmer's control.  If one week the box is a little lighter or has a little less variety than previous weeks, we will make up for it in the upcoming weeks, as more things become available.  If there are weeks, where due to those extreme weather situations, we are unable to provide a box, we will give you 48 hours notice to the best of our ability, and credit you either with another week, or double the size of a box on another week.
